I think things are shaping up quite nicely around here. The color scheme's now a nice steel blue (well, plus a lot of grey) and I think I have all of the kinks worked out of the post formatting. I threw in a new-item-indicator for posts but I haven't really been able to test it yet; I made the same icon that I use to mark new posts be the site's favicon.

Somehow the site still passes XHTML and CSS validation even though I essentially knew nothing about either before starting on this site. CSS has been remarkably simple and easy to work with.

I need to figure out if there's a really simple way for me to upload and link to ZIP files without having to manage their uploading and linking manually (essentially I want it to be as easy as it is to attach images to these posts) and if there's not set one up. After that, everything'll be up and running to start posting articles. Woohoo!
